No Se Achica Ante Nadie
El FCR sub -19 le hizo frente a un rival que en los papeles parecía superior. El equipo juvenil del Aston Birra venía de quitarle el largo invicto a Ferro Carril Oeste sub-19, habiendo incorporado grandes figuras como el historico goleador de la Selección Argentina Sub-18 Jose Luis Paolo. El partido no comenzó nada bien para los Gladiadores del F.C.R. ya que su rival tuvo una gran posesión de balon los primeros 20 minutos. Durante este tiempo, el Aston generó varios remates por parte de jugadores como Herrera, Zinger, Nuñez y Paolo.Este último asustó a toda la hinchada del F.C.R. con un potente remate apenas pasados los 9 minutos de partido, pero el esférico fue despejado por el atento arquero Luque. Durante este tiempo el Rostock solo pudo llegar al arco rival mediante una jugada iniciada a través de un pase de Villalba a Huaquiman y un gran centro del chileno para el remate de Canavessi que sería despejado por el arquero Gatti. Pasado los 20 minutos el nivel de Los Guerreros de Rosario crecería considerablemente, debido en gran parte al exelente trabajo de recuperación del mediocampista y figura del partido Veron. Cuando el Rostock habia conseguido un par de llegadas claras por parte de sus delanteros y parecia crecer en el partido, llegaria un duro golpe de mala suerte a los 27 minutos. Klemi Zinger ejecuta un centro elevado que se cierra y termina dentro del arco dejando mudos a todos los hinchas del FCR presentes en el Rey Garufa. El Rostock seguiría atacando sin éxito hasta llegar al final de los primeros 45 minutos. Los primeros 5 minutos del complemento fueron complicados ya que el Aston hizo uso de su exelente delantera rematando al arco defendido por Luque en un par de ocasiones, pero a los 50 minutos de partido llegará una jugada de otro mundo. El delantero Jairo Villalba haría un gol impresionante. Un verdadero Barrilete Comisco. En conversaciones post-partido con el Dt y jugador del FCR sub-19 Nacho Alberdi dijo:
-Luque saca y hay una serie de rebotes en la mitad de la cancha. Jairo aprovecha uno de estos y encara y supera a tres jugadores rivales. Luego es obligado a retroceder un par de metros y dos de los jugadores de los que había superado lo alcanzan. De poco sirvió la corrida de los chicos del Aston, ya que Jairo los vuelve a dejar atrás, Queda mano a mano con el portero y convierte con una gran definicion. Un Gol digno de verse.
El partido continuaría, pero convertido ahora en un duro "ida y vuelta". Hubo llegadas de ambos lados y se volvió un partido duro y emocionante. El 1-1 final fue un fiel reflejo de lo que estos dos grandes equipos dejarian en el partido donde ninguno se saco ventaja. De los mejores partidos que dió este torneo Juvenil.
